Unfortunately, we must cancel the Summer HPDE at NCCAR. Evaluating the situation at this moment we do not see a way to responsibly host this event with the club’s best interest in mind. We want to thank everyone who signed up for this event and apologize that it has come to this; you will receive a full refund shortly. Additionally we will not be hosting an HPDE at NCCAR in October.
While not a direct replacement event, we have managed to secure Suffolk Executive Airport for an autocross that weekend. We look forward to returning to this venue and to hopefully add it as a regular stop in our autocross venue rotation. As this site has not been used for motorsport in 2 years, we are looking for volunteers who can assist with cleaning up the surface (using blowers, brooms, etc) the day before the event. If you are interested, please reach out to the board.
